There is a lot of fun to share with the December issue of Cruising Helmsman.
Traditionally, this issue includes my list of the favourite products and services offered during the year. the Editor's christmas wish list hardly ever gets fulfilled, but it is the thought that counts!
On the handy side, we have one awesome article in the centre pull-out section of the mag. IT is actually a reprinted article from way back in 2001! But do not let that deter you, if you are in the market to buy a new or used trailer sailer then this is the two-page checklist for you.
I reckon it is really useful for anyone looking to buy any type of yacht as it gets the thought processes on the right track as to what to look for and how it should be assessed.
I suggest you read my editorial in 'From the helm' to find out the history of this most useful piece of information.
On the fun side but still extremely practical is the full rundown on what to do when you hear that most horrible of sounds: "honey! The head is blocked."
Yikes! If you want to hear my best story of when the excreta hits the extractor then, once again, have a read of the editorial on page 4.
There is, of course, a whole lot more to read. A personal favourite is our letter this month.
