Boat Buyer's Guide - YAC May/June 2010

There is a dazzling array of boats available for purchase in Australia. What we have tried to do in our Boat Buyer’s Guide is to bring them all together ‘under one roof’ so you can get a feel for what’s available and compare model to model. This guide focuses on 30’-45’ boats. Later this year we’ll publish a large boat guide that will focus on 46’ and upward.

This guide should be a starting point for your research. From here you can contact the distributors or manufacturers and request further information. Many of these boats will be available for viewing at the Sydney Boat Show. If not, most are available for viewing upon request.

We’ve provided pricing where available. Please note that these are indicative prices and what you get in that price will vary. Most prices are for the base boat (including GST). To compare apples to apples you should make up a list of the features and equipment you want on your boat and get the suppliers to give you a customised quotation.

We hope that you find this guide informative and useful.

Good sailing.
