A strategic partnership has been created between Europe's leading yacht sales and service provider and the team at Yoti to bring you the first complete solution in purchasing and launching your yacht in European waters.

Yoti director John C Cowpe said the move was prompted by the increasing flow of Australian sailors to Europe and the Med.

"As that increases so too does the demand for ongoing service and back-up while enjoying the adventure," he said.

"The decision to partner with Sunbird in Europe was one made through an intimate knowledge of the organisation and a personal history with the key members of the management team over many years.

Cowpe said Sunbird had built its reputation on delivering the service and aftercare that customers demanded.

Sunbird has their western Mediterranean base in Palma, where they run new and secondhand boat sales along with a warranty and aftercare centre. For the Eastern Mediterranean it's Turkey, mainly because it lies outside of the EEC and so has no sales tax/VAT. Based at Gocek, which is one of Turkey's premiere sailing areas, the head office is in Port Gocek marina, where they also maintain after-sales support in Turkey and of course the warranty back-up for new vessels.
